Dance Arts Annual Spring Recital
A Performance Opportunity
The Dance Arts Recital is an option for all students enrolled in the school term. Participation is optional.
Purpose
- To present the developing techniques.
- Expand musicality, creativity, and emotion that makes the physical activity an art form

2009 Recital DVD Orders - You can still order the 2009 Recital DVD. Download an Order Form here. All 2009 DVDs are $36.50.
Location - Capitol Arts Theatre, Bowling Green, Kentucky
Recital Assignments - Most students perform in only one of the three recitals except for students enrolled at the Advanced Levels, Performounce Troupe, Dance Company.
Format
- Young Children's Recital
- Children age 12 and under
- Shorter in length with a minimum amount of rehearsal time.
- Senior Student's Recital
- Children age 12 and over
- Longer in length with a reasonable amount of rehearsal time.
Costumes Cost
- Appropriate to age and technique level
- Includes tights and accessories, but not dance shoes
- Age 3-6/$55-$65
- Age 7-9/$65-$75
- Age 10+/$80-$95
- Deposit - Prepare for a $55 deposit per costume in November
- Balance - Due the first lesson meeting in January
Seating Assignments
- Assigned seating system is used.
- $5 per seat ordered in advance
- $7 per seat at the door
- Order forms for seating arrangements usualy issued in March.
In addition, order forms will be issued for
- Professionally taped DVD
- Recital t-shirts
- The purchase of these items is optional
Recital Information - Parent newsletters will be issued beginning in October giving parents time to budget costs and prepare their family calendar.
